The Hurricane destroyed more enemy aircraft than all other British defences combined in the crucial Battle of Britain and out-scored the Spitfire in air combat up to the end of 1942, after which it was used primarily for ground attack, a role in which it also excelled. The history of this country might have been significantly different, but for the inspired design choices for this aeroplane, made by Sir Sydney Camm and his design team at the Hawker Aeroplane company in the early 1930s.\n\n--\n--\n--\n\neBay Store Design by Visualsoft
