This is a classic book and has stood the test of time. It manages to dissect the claims of the battle showing why the claims of Douglas Bader and his Big Wing theory, as well as those of 303 Squadron were so high- and so inaccurate. Not through lack of bravery or knavery but through many German aircraft being the subject of enthusiastic repeated attacks by several fighters.
