Anubias hastifolia is the tallest Anubias species available, producing long lance-shaped leaves that can reach 40\u201350cm in a mature plant. That height makes it one of the few Anubias suitable for background placement in larger aquariums, where its impressive stature creates a dramatic vertical element unlike most other Anubias varieties.\nIt's as undemanding as any Anubias: no CO2 required, tolerant of low light, and attached to hardscape rather than planted into substrate. The broad dark leaves are tough and provide excellent cover for fish that appreciate shelter. Growth is slow but the plant becomes increasingly striking the longer it is left undisturbed.\nRemove from the pot and fix the rhizome to a substantial piece of wood or rock. Do not bury the rhizome. Approx 20\u201335cm in height on arrival.
