To make Sausage Tree Pure Irish Vodka, the fruits of the kigelia tree and wild Irish nettle are distilled alongside Irish grains at the distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim. As PJ contemplated the majestic plant, he recognised the innate kinship between it and the wild Irish nettle, found in the unspoiled woodlands of Drumshanbo, and also known for its purifying powers. He brought them together at The Shed Distillery with Irish grain to distil “nature’s purest tasting vodka”.
