Measure the backset before you order. The backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole, and on this 76mm sash lock it is 57mm. The case is the 3 Inch size, so the lock body measures 76mm from the faceplate to the back edge. If the lock you are replacing measures 44.5mm, order the 2.5 Inch version instead.
