CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) is used for timber frame construction and internal partition walls. Although as the name suggests it is of Canadian origin, CLS is in fact an acknowledged grade of timber and is now predominantly sourced from Europe.Supplied in a convenient 1.2 metre length, 50mm x 100mm (Finished 38mm x 89mm) 4 x 2 Inch 1.2m length of Timber 5 Pack 6m total length– easy to handle and perfect for smaller projects or tight spaces.All our CLS is graded to a minimum of C16, we insist however, that it is wane free and straight. Both of which are important for this product and its application.Choosing close grained raw material is vital in guaranteeing that CLS remains straight and stable after production and in use.
