How to Grow: - Sow seeds from February to March or June to September on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost. - Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. - Maintain a temperature of 15–20°C (59–68°F) in a propagator or sealed polythene bag, keeping the compost moist but not waterlogged. - Light aids germination, which typically takes 14–21 days. - Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. - Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 10–15 days. - Plant out after all risk of frost has passed, spacing them 23cm (9in) apart, or directly into baskets and containers.
