This fantastic variety produces impressive fruits, each weighing between 320-650g, on a compact, self-supporting bush that reaches approximately 1 metre in height. It's the perfect choice for patios, small greenhouses, or any garden with limited space, offering a high yield without the fuss of tying in or pinching out side shoots. How to Grow: - For greenhouse cultivation, sow seeds from February to April. For outdoor growing, sow from March to April. - Sow seeds on the surface of free-draining seed compost, cover lightly, and maintain a temperature of 15–20°C for germination (7–14 days). - Once seedlings have two true leaves, transplant them into 7.5cm pots and keep them at a minimum of 15°C. - Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting them outside after the last frost. - Space plants 60cm apart in a position that receives full sun. - Ensure the soil is fertile and well-drained. Consider companion planting with marigolds, basil, chives, or mint to help deter pests. - Water regularly to maintain even soil moisture and feed with a high-potash fertiliser. - Harvest your flavourful fruits from July to October as they ripen.
