How to Grow - Light: Requires full sun, with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. - Temperature: Sow indoors with temperatures between 20–25°C (68–77°F). Plant outdoors only after all risks of frost have passed. - Watering: Maintain consistently moist soil. Using mulch can help conserve moisture. - Feeding: Apply a general fertiliser a few weeks after transplanting the seedlings. - Humidity: Ensure good air circulation around the plants to prevent issues. - Indoors: Sow seeds from April to June, 2.5cm deep in small pots. Germination typically occurs within 5–7 days. - Outdoors: Direct sow from late May to June in mounds. Sow two seeds per hole and thin to the strongest seedling. - Training: Train the long stems around the plant to help manage their spread. - Harvest: Harvest before the first frost, when the skin is hard and the fruits begin to crack at the stem.
