Stunning Cotinus coggygria 'Golden Spirit' smoke bush with golden-yellow summer foliage that develops vivid red and orange tones in autumn and produces wispy smoke-like flower plumes from summer into early autumn. Exceptionally hardy and drought-tolerant, it needs minimal upkeep and is ideal for borders, containers and screening, reaching about 8m over 10–20 years. Plant in well-drained soil in sun or part shade, water after planting and prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape.
