Lauscha Christmas tree decorations – set of 4 baubles in blue with snowman and golden crown. Size: diameter 7 cm. The Christmas baubles are mouth-blown in front of the lamp. The balls get their shine through the Liebigsche silver process, which has been used in Lauscha since 1867. Silver nitrate, which is dissolved in an aqueous solution, is filled into the ball. By exposure to heat, it then knocks down on the inner wall of the ball. For the strong colours, aniline paint dissolved in nitro paint is applied on the outside, it contains no cadmium or other heavy metals.
