This FERROFIRE FS124 set combines a solid ferrocerium rod with a separate magnesium block and a carbon steel scraper in a ready to use package. It produces an intense, ultra-hot spark rain with temperatures up to 3,000°C (5,500°F) to reliably ignite fire for survival, bushcraft, camping, hunting or emergency scenarios even under the most adverse circumstances. Solid construction with optimised performance and durability The 1/2" diameter x 4" length premium ferrocerium rod included in the kit provides the perfect balance between robust handling and high spark yield. Its special alloy guarantees a long service life with thousands of ignitions, is completely water and weatherproof and has the optimal hardness for maximum spark yield per stroke. The sharp teeth on the ends serve as tinder in addition to the quick production of wood chips. Robust survival paracord with multifunctional use.
